snow day.

eric didn't have school today, because yesterday was his last day of classes for the semester and he goes to whitewater on thursdays and fridays. i didn't have school today, because we got a SNOW DAY.
what did we do today, you ask?
well, it started off by turning off that 5:30am alarm and snoozing til 8am. The coffee was ready to go because i got it ready last night, all i had to do was push on. we sipped our coffee and watched the today show while munching on honey nut cheerios.
we thought it would be a good idea to go dig our cars out of the snow since there was a good 8-10 inches out there. we scraped, scooped, wiped, and shoveled our cars and another out of the snow to freedom. today was the day i wish we had a house with a yard, it was the perfect snowman snow. heavy and compact to stay until the gusty winds knocked it down. instead i admired the piles of snow we were shoveling and tried not to get run over by the man plowing the parking lot (i think it may have been his first job).
we followed our hard work, by some intense super mario on the wii. if you don't have it yet, you need to get it (especially you JULIE, it will remind you of the days where we would sit upstairs chowing down on mac and cheese, followed by swany pop and hours of super nintendo, plus a spilt strawberry milkshake, where we then proceeded to scrub the floor like crazy...seriously, get it...now).
we realized we had no chicken for dinner, so we drove to sams real quick...had an extrodinary lunch date consuming a hot dog and a pop the size of a big gulp. back home again.
worked out. and thought about cleaning, still thinking about it too.
meanwhile, the apartment was filled with constant christmas music and the day, hour, and minute countdown until we will be home for the holidays.
what a day...and normally i would still be at school. ahhh...back to the real world tomorrow.
