happy 1st halloween!

deacon is just shy of 7 months and celebrated the day with me...and the evening with daddy and mama. he spent the day anticipating going to Little Bear Bottom to get some pumpkins and a lot of pictures taken, by taking a few naps and eating a hearty breakfast (bananas, apples, and cereal) and lunch (yellow squash, banana squash, and zucchini) to prepare for the 45 minute event. we picked up eric from work and headed over to where we found ourselves all alone. yes, all alone (besides the person working). most of the pumpkins had been picked over but we didn't mind much, all we (um, me) really wanted was approximately 100 pictures of deacon pretty much doing the same thing. i can't help myself once i start clicking.

why didn't i join sooner? seriously? deacon wonders why, too!?

i am so excited to try some DIY projects, check out other people's great finds, and find some great things myself.

i have two goals for myself (that are just for me) since i rarely do things just for me nowadays.

1. actually blog more than once every three months (i think i can, i think i can)

2. be crafty...making things for me and of course deacon too
